Bible verse fman in need of a savior6/25/2023 ![]() ( AT)’”ġ7 Nathan reported to David all the words of this entire revelation. 16 Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me your throne ( AR) will be established ( AS) forever. 15 But my love will never be taken away from him, ( AP) as I took it away from Saul, ( AQ) whom I removed from before you. ( AM) When he does wrong, I will punish him ( AN) with a rod ( AO) wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. ( AL) 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. ( AI) 13 He is the one who will build a house ( AJ) for my Name, ( AK) and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. “‘The Lord declares ( AD) to you that the Lord himself will establish ( AE) a house ( AF) for you: 12 When your days are over and you rest ( AG) with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, ( AH) and I will establish his kingdom. I will also give you rest from all your enemies. ( Y) Wicked ( Z) people will not oppress them anymore, ( AA) as they did at the beginning 11 and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders ( AB) over my people Israel. ( W) 10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant ( X) them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. ( V) Now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men on earth. ( T) 9 I have been with you wherever you have gone, ( U) and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. ( M) 7 Wherever I have moved with all the Israelites, ( N) did I ever say to any of their rulers whom I commanded to shepherd ( O) my people Israel, “Why have you not built me a house ( P) of cedar? ( Q)”’Ĩ “Now then, tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, ( R) and appointed you ruler ( S) over my people Israel. ( K) I have been moving from place to place with a tent ( L) as my dwelling. ![]() God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.5 “Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord says: Are you ( I) the one to build me a house to dwell in? ( J) 6 I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. ![]() 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. ![]() 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.Ģ3 For everyone has sinned we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. Christ Took Our PunishmentĢ1 But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. 20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. “Snake venom drips from their lips.” ġ4 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” ġ6 Destruction and misery always follow them.ġ7 They don’t know where to find peace.” ġ8 “They have no fear of God at all.” ġ9 Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. 13 “Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave.
